Our Groomer Drive was a success, thanks to all who believed in what we are doing ....
At the November meeting, the purchase of a groomer for $6,000 was approved by the Club membership. In an effort to fund this purchase, the Club also approved the selling of 'shares' to our members and any other interested parties. These shares will be sold for $100 each. The $100 will be paid back to each 'investor' in 4 equal payments over a 4 year period with a 4% interest on the principle. The total amount paid back at the end of the 4 years will be $110. The breakdown is as follows:
Year 1 - $25 + $4 (interest on $100)
Year 2 - $25 + $3 (interest on $75)
Year 3 - $25 + $2 (interest on $50)
Year 4 - $25 + $1 (interest on $25)
Total Return = $110.
Please contact Jean London or Mike Cunningham if you are interested in purchasing one or more shares. Checks payable to Salmon Creek Snowmobile Club in increments of $100 should be sent to Jean London, 4079 Clarkson Parma TL Rd., Brockport, NY 14420. Upon receipt of your check, you will receive a certificate of shares purchased.

There is a lot of activity going on behind the scenes this year. We are working to comply with the NYSSA guidelines. We've started by updating our by-laws, making sure our corporation papers are in order, and making sure we are in compliance with the IRS.
We have received the o.k. to go ahead with our new trail. As of Oct. 4, most of the trail has been cleared and mowed. There is still more work to be completed. If you can help, your help will be very much appreciated.
We have joined the Orleans County Federation of Snowmobiles.
Our meetings are open, so even if you are not currently a member, please feel free to join us and see what we're doing.
